Land Acknowledgement
Tkaranto/Toronto is the "Dish with One Spoon" territory. It is traditionally the home of the Anishinaabe, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation. Today, Toronto is home to Indigenous people from across Turtle Island. I am grateful as a settler to work on this territory, and the traditional territories of other Indigenous people across Canada. I recognize that I am an uninvited visitor to this territory, and endeavour to work in solidarity with the decolonization efforts of Indigenous peoples nationally and internationally.
